Zoom Teeth WHITENING
What is Zoom Teeth Whitening?
Zoom Teeth Whitening is a safe, in-office, non-invasive one-hour teeth whitening treatment that can completely brighten up your smile. It is so quick and effective, it’s almost too good to be true! One treatment can remove years of stain and teeth discoloration from drinking coffee, tea, cola and red wine, or from smoking.
IS ZOOM TEETH WHITENING RIGHT FOR ME?
Most people are good candidates for Zoom Teeth Whitening. It is right for you if:
- You would like a quick and effective way to whiten your teeth.
- You have healthy gums and unrestored teeth.
- You aren’t allergic to peroxide.
- You aren’t pregnant or breastfeeding.
How does Zoom Teeth Whitening work?
Zoom Teeth Whitening is performed in the comfort of our treatment suites and typically lasts under an hour. During the treatment, a safe hydrogen peroxide solution gel is applied to your teeth. The solution will be left on the teeth for 15-minute intervals and then washed away. Usually, after three intervals of 15 minutes, your teeth will have lifted, but if needed, your dentist may apply a fourth round.
One of the best things about Zoom Whitening is the immediate result. Your teeth may even whiten up to eight shades in the span of an hour. Your end results will depend on the shade of your teeth before the treatment.
Immediately following treatment, your dentist will review your after-care plan. It is important to abstain from consuming food or drinks that stain such as coffee, tea, red wine, tomato sauce, etc. for 48 hours. The enamel remains porous for the first two days after treatment, making it easy for the aforementioned items to penetrate the outer surface of enamel and affect your results.
How long will my results last?
Most of our patients maintain results for up to six months before needing any touch-up treatments. If you consume coffee, red wine, tea, or other stain causing foods on a regular basis, your dentist may recommend touch-ups on a more frequent basis.
Our team will make sure to arm you with at-home care instructions to maximize your results. Using the whitening trays we provide and switching to a whitening toothpaste can help maintain results for longer.
